My organization is conducting a fundraiser and we are interested in having prizes or auction items donated, who should I contact?
Each Best Buy store has a limited donation to support local community requests such as this. Stores review the numerous requests they receive and make funding decisions. To request a donation from your local store visit the Store Donation page on the Best Buy website to see if your organization is eligible. Then you can complete the application and submit it to your local store for a decision. The Best Buy Corporate office does not handle these types of requests.
I submitted a request for a Store Donation and would like to find out the status?
Store Donations requests are reviewed by employees at each local Best Buy store. Due to the volume of requests that they receive we ask that you allow 6-8 weeks for a response. The Best Buy Corporate office does not review these requests, so you will need to follow up with the local store for further information.
I am a member of the military, or I have a friend or relative serving, and I would like a donation for the troops.
Best Buy recognizes the value of our military personnel and their families in contributing to our freedom and quality of life. Best Buy has supported our military troops through our work with the Fisher House Foundation. We do not provide donations to individual military units.
Does Best Buy allow groups to sell items or distribute information in front of their stores?
Best Buy has a non-solicitation policy. Therefore we do not allow anyone to distribute information or sell items in front of Best Buy stores or in our parking lots.
Does Best Buy have an employee volunteer program?
Yes. Best Buy encourages employees to volunteer by providing grants from the Best Buy Children's Foundation to organizations where employees share their talents. Many Best Buy stores use their local volunteer centers to find volunteer opportunities in their area. To post your volunteer opportunity, please go to www.1800volunteer.org or call 1-800-volunteer to find your local volunteer center.
My nonprofit organization is interested in purchasing discounted items from Best Buy, who should I contact?

Does Best Buy make donations to individuals or families?
No. Best Buy and Best Buy Children’s Foundation make donations to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with a focus on educational programs for kids that use interactive technology.
Do Best Buy stores host students for Job Shadow activities?
Yes. Best Buy is a supporter of Junior Achievement's Job Shadow Day program and many of our stores host students for events. If your school is interested in participating in a Job Shadow program at Best Buy please work with your local Junior Achievement office. To find the JA office near you visit www.ja.org.
