How do I apply for a Best Buy Scholarship?
Scholarship applications are available online at www.BestBuy.com/Scholarships. All applications must be submitted online between January 1 and February 15. Recipients will be announced in May.

Who is eligible to apply for a Best Buy Scholarship?
Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be attending a college, university or vocational school in the fall immediately following their high school graduation.

How are scholarship recipients selected?
Scholarship recipients are selected based on volunteerism efforts, work experience academic achievements. Best Buy partners with Scholarship America to handle the administration and selection of recipients.

How many scholarships are awarded and what is the value of the scholarship?
Best Buy Children's Foundation will award 1,500 scholarships of $1,500 each and 51 scholarships of $10,000 each.

Are Best Buy Scholarships renewable?
No. Scholarships are for one year of college study only and cannot be renewed for additional years.

How will I know if I've been selected to receive a Best Buy Scholarship?
Scholarship America will notify finalists in mid-March and request copies of transcripts and proof of volunteerism. Winners will then be selected and announced online at www.BestBuy.com/Scholarships in early May. Scholarship America will also notify recipients by email.

If I'm a recipient how do I receive my scholarship?
Scholarship America will make checks payable to the school that the recipient will be attending in the fall following their high school graduation. Checks will be mailed to the recipient's home in August.
